Booking terms

Golden Suites Italy is a presentation and connection portal: it lists the properties and puts the owners of the properties and those who manage them — companies or private individuals — in contact with guests interested in a stay.

Nature of the service and liability

For each property, the owner or manager (owner, management company or private host) is responsible for the tourist rental or holiday home: for selling the stay, for the legal obligations (National Identification Code, public-security communications, tax obligations and tourist tax), for guest identification, for collecting payment and issuing the related invoice. The accommodation contract is concluded directly between the guest and that owner/manager: Golden Suites Italy is not a party to the rental contract and does not sell the stay in its own name, limiting itself to presenting the properties and connecting the parties.

How to book

From each property's page you can check availability and book through the indicated channels (telephone, email or the property's own booking system, where available). The terms of price, payment, security deposit, check-in/check-out and cancellation are those communicated by the property's owner/manager at the time of booking.

Documents and tourist tax

Under public-security obligations, a valid identity document is required on arrival for all guests. The tourist tax, where levied by the municipality, is normally payable on site to the property's owner/manager, unless otherwise indicated.

Right of withdrawal

A booking concerns the provision of accommodation for a specific date or period: such contracts are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal provided for distance contracts (Art. 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code). Once a booking is confirmed, the cancellation terms communicated by the property's owner/manager therefore apply.

National Identification Code (CIN) and safety

Where required by law, each property's CIN is shown on the relevant page and belongs to the property's owner or manager. The CIN is also displayed at each property, which is equipped with the safety devices required by law (gas and carbon-monoxide detectors and compliant fire extinguishers).
